It's the 20th anniversary of me

Are you tired of playing imps? Why not try something different
I enjoy trying out a new concepts and gameplay ideas that wouldn't necessarily fit within standard TF2.

WHEN IS IT?

This August 1st at around 3-4ish PM CDT(Central Daylight Time) (depends on when I get off of work)

On the US server

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR
Submission Guidelines:
  • No maps that require plugins, so no VSH or Slender Fortress maps
  • Variations of normal gamemodes are okay
  • Must be functional, no broken maps please
  • Can be at any point in development (alphas are okay)
  • Must be a map that everyone can play regardless of skill level (no Surf maps, but I can check them out in my freetime)
If you can't find the game mode in Casual matchmaking I'm interested in playing it!!!
You can maybe also test some April fools concepts you've been thinking about...

Giving me an excuse to get the bombastic series in here, feel free to play only one, all 3 or somewhere in between. The PLR map is the most nonstandard, bombastic is in dev (pratically abandoned now tbh), and bombastic forest is an old map of mine that's basically abandoned, and is too long for its own good. If people have a good reaction to bombastic forest, I may resume messing with it and trim it down to a reasonable length.

Shelter - Symm 4CP with two middle points
Mannscape - A/D CTF
CTF_Pipeline - CTF conversion of Pipeline where the intel moves on a cart towards mid. Multi-stage
Sulfur - Steeltype except last point is KOTH
Aurora - King of the Flag / Hold the Flag / whatever you want to call it.
Axlebox - KOTH with 3 points, your team's timer goes down if you own more points than the other team
Cliffhanger - "Domination", essentially KOTH with 5 points, and your timer goes down faster the more points you own
Sparrow - Custom TC variant, middle stage is 3cp but if you hold mid for 3 minutes you win, then the outer two stages are regular A/D

The last two maps require sv_allowserverpointcommand to be set to "always", so if you run either of them make sure it's set that way before you change the map.


Grove - Payload, but the attacking team is decided by whoever captures the mid point first.
Bomba - Capturing the mid point unlocks the enemy team's generator. Destroy it to win.
Lumberyard Event - A spooky version of Lumberyard with overhauled, casual-oriented logic.
Finalway Boss - A boss fight against a massive robot.
Pipeball Classic - An old custom gamemode. Shoot the ball into the enemy goal three times to win. (Save this until near the end, as it works best with smaller team sizes)
Pipeball Canyon - Another Pipeball map, but designed for *slightly* larger team sizes (I made this <3)
