Now that I've been reminded this thread exists, time to chronicle the connect 4 game in glorious light mode.
Gravity? What's that?
The strategy of this was quite impressive. Firstly, people had to try to coordinate it so that a team would win, having to also play around the fact that some people were deafened or didn't want to change their profile pictures. Secondly, people could stream to be sorted before people who weren't streaming, but still in alphabetical order. This and changing your nickname acted as quick ways to shuffle the entire board. Finally, people had to adapt to these shuffles and try to snipe a win by predicting the results of a shuffle or just having four members of one team stream in a row tow win, or try to stop win-sniping, either by predicting the results of a shuffle with the intent of foiling win-snipers or by preventing teams from getting the highest priority in alphabetical order so they couldn't snipe a win by streaming.
Quite the TF2Maps moment to start off 2021.
