That looks really great corv! The interior design is fantastic but the wood floor you went for might not be the best choice. It looks like I'd stub my toe on all of the beams when walking across it, and floors generally never look like that; that wood is meant for walls AFAIK. I would replace it with the bridge's wood used in the image below. The lighting is bad but It would look fine in your scene.

Does this look better?

Nice brushwork doors you can't spawncamp:

Also did this room but I worry I made it waaaay too bright. Gonna get rid of some of these lights or dim them down a lot.

Poster looks nice though

That's awesome. I love how detailed the walls are, so many supports and beams and things. And the little detail scenes, like how the shovel rack has an additional shovel lying down next to it.

The metal texture on the spawn doors seems a bit odd though; lots of dots. Maybe replace it with a "smoother" one? Just a thought.

Concrete floors can be supported by wood! I think it looked nice before. In fact, freight trains weighing 10,000 tons pass over wooden bridges. Wood is strong.

Wood can support concrete, but it's unusual, and would probably only ever be done for a situation where the platform's function needed a smooth surface, like a driveway (the only time I can recall seeing this myself, as it turns out).

I could see it being necessary in this case, as it appears large-ish items are being lifted by crane onto the platform and moved around, presumably by hand or hand truck. Wood floors aren't great for wheels.

well for one you should look at some reference images of those kinds of staircases, you'll see that they arent big chunky minecraft blocks like that, theyre thinner and have either an edge or something holding them up.

honestly looking at reference images is generally a must and will solve most detail problems

That is one thin hallway -
also a little weird how the first set of stairs has a base but the second of the same material has no underneath

def an improvement, altho they look a little shallow

again i'd recommend using a reference image cause then it's really just a case of getting it to look like that

I'm trying to get better at using brushwork to detail, rather then props. (given my last 2 detail entries to contests were called prop libraries and prophunt maps)

the doorframes look really thick and awkward

honestly in response to the brushwork thing I'd recommend making your blank brushwork look nicer, right now you're just detailing a long thin box, if the geo you started with was more complex you'd end up with some much nicer results

(also probably learn when to use simplicity, rn it seems like you think no wall should be left blank)
