Brushwork with that much detail will probably break something so it should be model.
He's been testing with source 2 workflow of making models and he is very successful.
I am still waiting for a good tutorial on this.

This took me 4 days to create (I was only able to work on the weekends). I call it the Cliffside Cabin. All sound effects you hear are being played in the game/map, there was no post editing. I hope you like it, as I'm very proud of it and I feel confident in my art passing. I encourage you to watch it multiple times and look at every part of the map.

Some work on the map (i can't decide to call it pl_wormhole or pl_portal or something else) from a few weeks ago

The tunnel on the other side is just behind perspective in the other screenshot

The lighting in the barn like building is ugly and i don't want to subject any of you too it

Still working on pl_desertmap_a2, though it's starting to look less like a desert now lol

Decided to scrap the entire shitty second half of the map and redesign it from the ground up

New battle area around the second checkpoint, should be fun! Includes a deathpit, too!

It took a month, but the basic layout of my PL map is finished.

Still don't know what I'm going to name the map.

Next step: Getting it all sealed.
