No. It's just one of those themes people struggle with, possibly because of the limited material assets. Most Hammer nooblets don't feel confident mixing materials they've always seen as 2 seperate themes. Which Yyler has done (rather successfullly) here.

Though i did always think the main hallway in manor was crazy bland compared to the rest of the map which was a bit of a let down considering it was the main entrance into the finalé. But otherwise Manor is pretty gorgeous and one of your better maps.

A lot of the shots you've got of montane are overhead, and it seems like the buildings are really tall. What's it look like from the player's perspective?

eeeehhh yes and no. You're going to have to work at that cliff wall if you want it to look right. I get bad overly pink vibes from that texture.

It's alright. You need pipes and stuff on the tippity top top roof, but otherwise pretty good direction so far.

Probably a bad sign that that kind of geometry looks weird to me in that theme.

It also needs more curves. Gorge's buildings have a bit of curviness to them. A few of them, at least.

I'm running out of spots to safely detail, so either I'm going to have to say screw it and start detailing the rest, or be a lot more aggressive with getting more testing done.

Why is there a cow there? Nothing about the theme suggests farming or that the facility is near a farm at all, so far as I can see?

No, seriously, I was planning to add a sign that said "This is a Farming Research Facility" next to the cow as an obviously bad attempt at disguise. I dunno if it's really necessary, but left the cow for now cause it amused me.
