From the current WiP: (I don't like the look of this, but if the structure is wood, it looks off, as wood can't hold the weight of the dish...)

I have been thinking of making the structure more out of concrete, as well as extending the structure over the deathpit. I have also thought of removing the dish and just making it a wooden structure, similar to Upward.
Any suggestions of what to do would be appreciated

Yea I wanted to add railings to that balcony or even make it a catwalk but there were not rails industrial enough.

I think those beams look great.

Just could use some better material alignment.

I hate to be a stuck up engineering nerd on this, but those beams simply wouldn't work. The sharp angles at the bends would cause stress concentrations in the beams and basically make them distort/ snap. They just wouldn't be able to hold the weight.

A simple fix is just to have them straight. They can still be angled, but sharp bends in beams are a no-go.
