The first post was a joke referencing how something's gone wrong the last couple of contests (despite I was very positive there, grumble grumble) And then after you replied, my mind just went: "Oh shit, we've gotta prove him wrong" and then it escalated a bit...

and frankly, I'm just gonna stop myself now and just close that off right away. A few little escalating misunderstandings plus human psychology is how the veteran crisis happened.

Back on topic, there is a very good chance that I will attend this, seeing that the last one was pretty good. I'll most likely join the mumble chat(or whatever we use this time). I may try invade ctf again or perhaps another custom game mode.

I sadly won't be able to participate during the allotted time, I'll see when I'm free and edit this post. I won't straight up and tell what I'm planning on doing, but I will give you a hint: I don't want to waste any space.

I will prolly end up making a really dumb map than realize it's so bad that I have to remake it on the last day under the time limit forgetting all about the health and ammo kits and then just making 2fort set in a cave but somehow worse and then end up getting a leak on the lower entrance to blu's base oh god why do you forsake me and ctf_caves????!!?!?!??!?

Self-Fulfilling Prophecy.

Something I personally very heavily believe in.

Basically, your attitude could very well be a contributing factor to that issue. Being a generally positive person has worked for me pretty well, so far!

I'm sorry, I have to go back off topic for a second, I just need to clear this up.

So, I found out a bit more about self-fulfilling prophecy. And when I did... I realized that you totally misinterpreted what I said.


I meant something that ISN'T my fault is going to happen. So I can be as confident as I want, it has nothing to do with something random like that.

You thought I was saying something that IS my fault is gonna go wrong at the last second. (Well, of course it's my fault... but... I'm talking withing my human boundaries)


But... having said that... I'm pretty sure there's a name for a thing where your attitude creates UNRELATED problems as well, which is what I at FIRST thought you guys were talking about.

A sudden change on plans stops me from entering the competion.
