Am I allowed to donate keys for the prize?
And if I do donate can I still participate?
I'm unsure, so I'm asking.
I know [UEAK]Crash set up some entities for plr_split ahead of time for the last contest. Does this mean that I can create some of the entity setup ahead of time? What if I release it before the contest?
Whoops, I missed this! The answer is yes. On a related note:
As long as you publish them on TF2Maps.net before the contest starts, then yes, you can use whatever entity setup you'd like. We'd prefer if you shared your entity setups on the site, but it's not a requirement. Anything beyond gameplay entity setups must be released.
Yes, and yes! Donating does not disqualify you from participating, or even winning.
Great, and now to the question how should I donate the keys?
Well this starts just when my school starts, three weeks in :v
I guess this will end up being a two day challenge then. May have to think a bit more this time about what I want to do so that I can not spend 4/5 hours thinking about ideas at the start.
You could always choose one of the alternate dates (come on, I'm lonely! ).
Add me on Steam and throw me a line.
A line? Not a bone or anything?
Sorry KubeKing but my school starts on the weekend of the third week of school, so all the dates end up being muddled around a bit for me. Happy to stay around in a mumble or something chatting, and I may do a mapping project for a while over that weekend if you want.
Oh, no worries. I should at least be on the Stream Group chat while I'm working.
I think I'll finally try one of these. I have an idea laid out in my mind (and on paper).
I will definetly attend this. I finaly have the time to try one of these and I've got a neat idea and sketches already done. If I can just resist not to start working on it before the contest.
Going to be an arena map inspired by H. P. Lovecraft
Just watch, guys. SOMETHING'S gonna go wrong for me at the last second.
It always does :glare:
With that attitude, something will.
I understand you're just trying to make me stop thinking about it.
But attitude does not equal random and unpredictable issue that I would have no way of knowing could happen.
Attitude affects how you react to a problem.
Frankly I don't think Frozen was trying to make you stop thinking about it. Just pointing out that being negative is a sure fire way to help negative things occur. If you say stuff like that, no one is going to empathise with you.
There's two things in the world that I hate.
People who are disrespectful and ignorant to other peoples cultures and the du- ... negativity.
It's okay, Fr0z3n. Next time, just buy auto insurance.
Something I personally very heavily believe in.
Basically, your attitude could very well be a contributing factor to that issue. Being a generally positive person has worked for me pretty well, so far!
Same here! Sans a few instances.
