We tried it on a whim on the day steam got shut down because of the caching bug so there was no schedule or announcement and surprisingly nobody joined

I just wanted to throw in - If you want to play early versions of popular maps, you could always compile the Valve artpass map that became Mountain Lab/Mann Manor... or is it unplayable? Never actually checked.

It wouldn't be that different from playing Manor/Lab though cos it'll be the exact same layout, just with dev textures.

Seconded. Would love to have some art pass submission maps played (maybe one a week?) Not as its own game day, though, as that could get stale fast.
