Geez I love this community. Thank you so very much.

This contest was a blast to take part in. Now we've got a ton of good alphas to playtest. Thank you @LeSwordfish for doing such a wonderful job hosting.

I have learned one thing though:
I really, really enjoy streaming, thanks to everyone who watched!

EDIT: I'm streaming, but it's not showing up on the Streams tab.

Thanks to everyone who voted for Ranchhouse, even if I did apparently spell 'Conagher' incorrectly on the sign and nobody told me until just now.

Good job, everyone! The winners honestly look almost like normal-quality maps, you could barely even tell that they were made in only 7.2 hours.

Can't wait to see what the next contest will be!

Well, I may not have won, or even come runner-up, but it was still fun to enter. Thanks for hosting this, guys.

I'm so embarrassed by my incorrectly packed layout entry, and while I can complain about the lack of an obvious packing tutorial, the only person I can truly blame is myself for adding the custom content in the first place... -_-'

Congrats to the winners and participants. It'll be interesting to see what layout entries continue to get development and what detail entries inspire map detailing...

I'm very happy with the feedback I received. I definitely bit off more than I could chew though, by trying to make a whole town/island in such a small amount of time.

Thanks @LeSwordfish for hosting the contest! I can't wait for the next major one, as it'll be my first since I've become an active member on this site!

Well, I managed to score second-to-last place... yay? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Did take back a bunch of awesome feedback though. Never thought roof thickness would be such a big issue; I'll definitely keep that in mind for the future. And it was a lot of fun to try and get something out in only 7.2 hours.

Thanks to everyone who voted and gave feedback!

I did fairly well, but a bit of that feedback is useless to me.
"Prop library" gee thanks, no context or furthering what you meant by that.
I can assume it means I used too many props, but I personally disagree with that.
I would say too that it does seem like you tried to use as many props as possible tbh.

Honestly I'd just take from that that your idea of what too many props is isn't the same as other people's, and that you should maybe use less in future.

Looking through your entry's screenshots, I can definitely see where people got the propspam impression. Imagine the scene with all the props removed - all that's left is a flat beach and bare, unbroken walls. Maybe the actual prop count is fine for a map of that size, but you should rely less on props and more on brushwork to create visually interesting scenes in the future.
