@LeSwordfish You should totally update Crusoe to use these assets.

Any plans to do a more reality based tank? Specifically one of the IS series (either IS, IS-2, maybe even an IS-3) or a KV-1?

Just checking before I start on one of these myself for a map idea. Don't want to duplicate work if there's already one secretly WIP.

Would it kill you guys to add some sort of tutorial on the site on how to install the materials and models?

Would it kill you to read some of the thread before you post? That question has been asked and answered several times here already.

This is so much better than Mayann IMO. Time to convert my projects into this.

No tanks are wip on our side! Go ahead, would love to see some!

We do have some more vehicles planned, in no particular order: Cargo ship, troop transport helicopter, battleship, Army truck, bigger submarine, and a car boat. (Amphibious thing.) Cant guarantee all of those will get made but we are gonna try.

Also, next version of prop pack will def have a readme. Bit of an oversight in our launch day buzz.

EDIT: Also I need to make more debris, a lot more. A LOT MORE.

there also aren't mirrored versions of the barbed wire curves.

I sort of like the clean props, because it lets me make a distinction between before and after destruction. But I agree some more dirtier and destroyed props would be nice (torn awnings anyone?)

Yes I intentionally did that. They shouldn't be as needed as the straight ones (cause a big field of straight lines needs a bit of randomness with the direction) and the curve mirrored just took way too long to get right with all the other stuff we still need to do, lining up the modular stuff to connect to all other pieces on different directions in the grid is a lot of pain

I might dive into fixing them for the expansion pack but for now please use the unmirrored ones

Edit:
Also about the sandbags not alligning, according to Donhonk you're using one of the pieces that is intended to be at 45 degrees and connect it to a straight one. As far as I've seen the sandbags work fine so maybe try some of the other modular pieces and see if they work

Small request on the hedge models. Can we get new models that have a small hole in the middle? I want to be able to show the area behind (and fill it in myself with a fence).

Also: To submit a map to this does it need to be really war themed or just make plenty use of the assets?

Would I need to pack all of the Frontline assets into the bsp for community use? Also when's the due date?

Sorry if this is a nooby question, I'm not used to packing assets.

Never feel bad for asking questions, we don't judge!

As not everyone is bound to have the assets installed, we still recommend packing your assets into your map. Only the ones you use, of course! Yes, this will drastically increase filesize depending on how much you use, Crash can attest to that with Shoreleave, but it's a necessary procedure in order for everyone to be able to play your map!

And as of now, there is no deadline, and there won't be one unless Valve declares one themselves, so take your time!

Hope this all helps!

if you use a program like compilepal it'll pick out only the assets that need packing and pack those automatically

As a fan of tanks myself, I was a little disappointed that the one added in the pack doesn't even look like it could scale trenches.
(Though this might be more to do with how weird TF2's classes are proportioned to the world. The tanks at least fit on a railroad flatcar which is accurate.)

Also the front armor isn't sloped so it wouldn't do a lot to stop incoming shells.

Also I would like to suggest something:

Maybe you could have a tank that moves it's turret and acts like a hazard / have a payload cart that shoots shells at enemies?

I thought it would be a good game mechanic.
