I like the one called 'driving home for christmas'.
I feel like it does something right that a lot of christmas songs don't. Rather than having a song that basically tells you "It is currently december again and we are doing christmas stuff and being totally in the mood", it focuses on a vague story about the anticipation of soon being able to celebrate everything that makes the holidays special - love, friendship and family.
It's not told explicitly tho. Rather, the whole song is built up around conveying this anticipation and letting the listeners project the things that makes christmas special for them into the song themselves.
That's what a good song does. A bad and lazy song says "it is currently this time and now we do <this time> activities again". It does of course also help that 'driving home for christmas' is pretty catchy.
Also, religious christmas songs can go suck an egg. We in the north were celebrating Yule way before those damned romans came along.
