how do i know if my entry is valid, will i receive some sort of message? i'm not even sure if i uploaded it right

If your entry is listed in the "72hr Jam Entries" category, then you submitted correctly. For example, your entry is fine:

Your download ended up in our moderation queue since it was submitted after the typical Jam deadline - I've let it through since I know you had a later time set for yourself. You can update your entry, but we will be looking at your original submission as the "official" submission.
