I learn what you don't do in order for that thing not to crash, too.

Sadly I don't think hammer works like that. Or else "moving a light 64 hu to the left" would be on that list.

On that list, however, is: clicking the void while being inside the bounding box of your selection with 3d viewport editing on. Reasons? Well, I have some guesses, but they are pretty weak.

Thought I had enough time to make 2 maps for the Asym contest, so I made a little Amsterdam block to test. After the contest I might pick this up. Urban settings are difficult

quick question:
for the winter 72 hr contest, i plan on making a unreal tournament map in tf2... the specific map i have chosen is ctf_reflection... so i was wondering if anyone knows if that has already been done... I'm pretty sure facing worlds has already been done though...

It's been a while since I've been able to post or even work on anything. I was originally going to use the 'regular' tan/grey/brown color palette seen in Yukon-style maps, but I kept using the same dark ground texture and it grew on me. I'll probably use the goldrush_01 or outpost_01 skybox depending on light angles and the tones it gives. (I don't really like the dark grey of the alpinestorm_01 or gravel_01, but I'll play around with it some.) Need to work on lighting and entities some, but I'm finding this to be productive and somewhat enjoyable.

I won't be able to participate in (or even finish the map) for Asym2, but best of luck to all of you! Hope everyone has been doing well, and enjoy the holidays! <3

Small experiment. This isn't my working title but I just wanted to see how I can use the tilted control point. If I ever get to work on this and expand as a full map, it will be 3cp a/d map. The screenshot was taken where blu team comes from.
