Everything looks great except the lighting looking too yellow. It having a yellow tint is fine, but it;s simply too yellow. The outdoor lighting is the worst offender unless if you want it to be nighttime, then in that case change the skybox texture.

If not fix up your light_environment settings.

I really like the geometry and everything else you have going here, keep up the good work!

He's used yellow lights because of the fires. What he needs to do is not use such literal reproduction of flame light (in fact i'm not even sure fire based light is that yellow).

Using orange textures everywhere also doesn't help. Using a more pure, day time light setting is more desirable for desert themed maps that utilise a lot of orange.

There's no rules against using yellow tinted lights, just as long as it isn't extreme; and i mean both extremes of not too yellow and not everywhere in the map.

Regardless. Comparing the screenshots seems to lead to no change in ambient lighting at all between day and night almost as if there is no light_environment at all.

Using yellow lights for the flames would be fine if there was supporting white light coming from the sky and a bluish or purple ambient.

Ok, I can't set the flame temprature directly to 1650K <the colour temprature of a flame > or I would have done that,

for the light
Current setting is brightness 255 255 119, Ambient 255 255 255

light_evironment:
brightness 22 44 44 200
ambient 37 75 75 20
brightnesshdr 192 192 192 1
brightnessscale 1
ambienthdr -1 -1 -1 1
ambienthdrscale1

Ok here you go added in my fog and a couple of textures
