The koth version of Vanguard
yeah I tweaked it again for rc4, hopefully all is well now
I'm still disappointed at no change to the 2 large flat screen Monitors in both bases.
Other than that it's a great map I guess.
It's a spy base. Who's to say they didn't have access to cool new tech?
I really like this map playing it in the update. One thing I have noticed is missing ammo patches - one on the ammo above the central point and the other in red's rollout, just as they enter the second point area. It's not too much of a deal, but just something to be aware of if you are going to do another iteration.

There is an exploit on this map where team can be trapped in spawn.
-added new path into last point
-added new geometry on middle point
-rearranged spawn points on final spawn
-fixed issue with forward spawn door

couldnt kill a dude hiding behind there today cause my rockets would just hit that fuckhuge collision model
yeah valve's collision model is complete ass, don't mean to be harsh as they probably just messed up the model compile but they really messed up something fierce on this model
would really recommend replacing the model cause thats a horrible spot for shooting people and not hitting
Actually the best way to go about it is make the model nonsolid and clip it.
nah, if I were to do it I'd just redo the collision model, it's really not that hard
So thats why i couldn't hit a guy behind that model in the image either. That model is something completely different i've seen before.
PS: Don't ever make map from the rd_asteroid moon props. About 10% of them have collision model. It's pain to use the rest of them.
Okay, so, whilst I was playing today I found an exploit where you can trap yourself / your team relating to a net near the "new path into last point"
So basically you can;
1: Build a Teleporter through it
2: Once you're in it, you can't get out
3: Shoot through it
4:You can push yourself through it (although this was inconsistent and ~half the time I got stuck in the net
So, this really really needs patching, as engineer, I could (I won't don't worry) trap my team in here.
You don't even need a teleporter to get stuck behind it. You can jump through the net.
Looking through the Wiki, I found out that koth_vanguard_hhh was a thing long before cp_vanguard was an official map! Fubar, now that Valve is releasing Hallowe'en map reskins for Scream Fortress, are you ever going to post a polished version on the Workshop?
This year, koth_vanguard_hhh is taking the back seat, it's pretty much as complete as I want it to be. I've been focusing on making a degrootkeep reskin instead. both are within the realm of possibility for this year's scream fortress but I'm very much focused on degroot
