What kind of resolution are we talking? Because the immediate difference between 32 and 8-bit images is actually not as distinct as you'd imagine.
That's also using the base 256 palette, so it's not just compressed to the closest amount of 256 colours what are already in the image (as it's already desaturated and limited to whites and browns).
*facepalm* 8-bit means like NES graphics and the like.

I know what it means. He didn't specify a style. 8-bit platform style would be completely different to 8-bit 3d style.

It was OK, but it would have been better if something was happening. Show a busier street, or clouds moving by, or the sun rising or setting, or the spectacular lightshow of a thunderstorm.
