Please post here if you're going to take one of these maps. I will probably say yes but please consider having some sort of experience before taking these on because I would like to see them actually finished.

Otherwise, they're free for anyone to download and look at and learn from or whatnot.

Feldspar

Early payload map, only ever had one alpha. Some neat spaces, needs a lot of work but I like the ideas of the spaces still.

Venezia

Koth map in Venice. People didn't seem to like it but liked the idea of it, idk.

Cloudtop

72h koth map. I liked it, it's fun, but could use improvement especially in interior detailing.

You are all welcome to try, but be aware cloudtop requires a lot of work on the gameplay as well, I would hope for more than just picking it up, throwing some extra detailing in and re-releasing it.

IMO Cloudtop has the details down, I'd probably mod the gameplay and turn it into 3CP

Bear in mind that Rexy isn't active on the forums anymore and I think he has a non-compete agreement or something with his current employer, so I don't think you can actually use his models in maps that you want to get accepted by Valve. Not clear on that tho, you'd have to ask someone in the know.
