No 3D Skybox wont give minus Points right?
Points are decided by whoever is voting. If the level suddenly cuts off at the edge, some people might decide to dock some points, and some people might not. In past contests, many maps have gotten away without them, but standards have also been rising. Maps with 3D skyboxes will almost certainly do better than those without, simply because they are more fleshed out and look better.

i dont understand how youre suppose to have a "good" 3D Skybox within that Space when you already used most of the Space for the actual Map

Also, I wanted to add on to XEnderFaceX's question. If I made a skybox thats 2048x2048, but the 3D Skybox scale was 16, making the skybox look like its stretching to 32768x32768, would that still count since the box is still within the limits or do we have to take the 3D Skybox scale into account?
