More like everybody outside of mapping communities/have little to none knowledge about mapping will want the map in the game just for the looks. Just. For. The. Looks.






ps: then complain on the forums how shit the map is in their option

True, but at the same time, Most of them ignored the fact that all that author did is changing some texts and adding some random Halloween light post in a random location. (Sigh)
Also, They give no star at all to all the alpha maps while giving all the positive rating to Orange.
Valve should promote mapping community a bit more so that people are aware of how some of the most basic things work around here.
But again, Valve already did it with cosmetics community and now we get banana heads.

This is how so much garbage ends up on Greenlight. The general public cannot handle so much responsibility!
Just as a social experiment I want to put up my first map on the Workshop, see how far it gets before people figure out it plays like ass

Something I made in Reflex while trying to learn the editor, which is fully in-game btw. No 3d views, you literally create and edit brushes in real time. So you can do changes to the map even when people are playing it, it's absolutely awesome, even if it is a little bit clunky compared to 2d viewports.
