Something to do with instances, I think.

Looking at that screen made me realize I don't know of anyone who uses the Move Selected bar, either, even though it's enabled by default.

GPit has problems. For some reason comp plays it anyway. Keep going, you might fix the problems without knowing exactly why. Every iteration, make the changes you need to for gameplay and also make it look less like GPit. You'll be fine.

Don't make it impossible to climb C from the base of it, though.

I don't know if you just didn't see it or if it isn't enough ramp but there's ramps beneath C leading to both the raised walkways and the ground (it's just covered in shadow).

Oh you're right, totally didn't notice.

I predict that you'll need two, though. One is spammy and easy to lock down.

Yeah, seems about right. I'll probably finish the first alpha up and release it for a gameday soon to see how it plays.

There are thousands of locations around the earth like that. This is based of no particular occurance of such, just an eroded seaside cliff.

Looks like he built it out of triangle shaped brushes, which are much easier to do complex shapes with because all three points are guaranteed to be coplanar (which means hammer won't bitch at you about invalid solids).

It is a lot of work though, hammer doesn't make working at the vertex level efficient.
