Does it have to be like a logical design that map be in a normal map, or can it just be completely free design with simple rule being that it's a final point?
Free design, but the control point shouldn't feel like it doesn't belong there. Think about what would BLU want to takeover in that area/theme, what would they get for taking over it, then base it off those thoughts.
I mean, you can technically do whatever you want. But be aware that at least in the past, most people that have posted their feedback (inc. mine) have taken into consideration how it feels like it's part of a bigger map rather than an isolated detail box.
Well, speaking that half the feedback I get on maps is too much detail/prop spam, I think I need to enter this
I've been sitting on a 5cp map for a while that I hit a wall in, I actually really liked the layout of the last point so I think I might take that edit it, and detail everything really nicely
Also I just thought of this, does the control point have to be something you can interact with? Or can it just be a simple prop?
They both launched on the same day. We worded that sentence poorly on purpose so as to not ruin the surprise for this contest.
Can I make Red Spawn for the final control point? It is part of the area as well so... is it allowed? It would be just after the stairs.
