Time to give the Asteroid/Moonbase theme some love.

It has to be TF2 themed, if that's what you're wondering.
Do capture/finale animations count for the contest? (Like a cool payload explosion or such)
Not unless you can figure out a way to get the player to trigger it
What if, say, I trigger an event when the point is captured or nearing capture? (And I put all players on BLU team to ensure that anyone can capture the point)
So, it has to be control point, and we can't do payload final points?

You can do that but remember it is judged by players just running around your map. They might not cap the point and entirely miss it unless you figure out a way to make sure they do.
How do I make reflective textures/brushes?

But can I use half life props or overlays?Many Valve maps use HL props and textures in them.
Yes but if it's obvious and out of place voters will probably mark you down for it.
