I took an old spawn I made and added some additional detail to it, (got rid of some stuff too.) Not sure how I feel about the rafters. I also fixed the welding box for steam chat, (which you can't see.)

Could use some help, too:
I'm not sure what water texture to use for this ocean. Touching the water kills the player, so it needs to look deadly, but it also needs to like like a normal ocean. If this isn't obvious enough, I could make the fall larger. Last resort would be to get rid of it entirely, and I really don't want to do that. Thoughts maybe?

You could put those yellow biohazard barrels floating in the water. If that isn't really the theme you're going for, a longer fall is the only other thing that I think would make sense.

I like the way it looks all over, but those support beams across the ceiling are totally wrong, that texture is wrong and I know it's a fitting color but please use a wood texture that doesn't have a second layer of wood supporting it. It really does look good all over, but that's just weird. Sorry if i come off as rude, i'm very tired (literally got out of bed 5 minutes ago) and can't think properly.

You could put a low railing on the edge of the walkway to let people know that crossing the railing may have some consequences.

That blue environment lighting is sick. Is that UE4?

HL2DM with scale 2 lightmaps and color correction. Thanks though!

The portal file...
It scares me
(unless its func_detailed)

P.S. How did you not get any invalid solid errors?

I didn't even bother looking at the portal file since the whole thing is surrounded by an enormous func_viscluster, but yeah it probably is pretty bad. Invalid solids were avoided by carefully vertexediting planes and alt-p'ing after every change.

*shrugs* the portalfile is largely irrelevant for something like that. Pretty much can't be optimised, so why bother? Just func_detail it all
