Working on a koth map and decided to give the Construction pack and setting a shot

You seem to be getting a decent handle on the tools - good job! Try watching some of UEAKCrash's TF2 mapping tutorials for information on the other basic tools to aid in getting more familiar with hammer. Once you know the basics, the valve developer community also has a bunch of really useful information on how to set up gamemodes and such.
Kinda the point. The first version was bad but I made it work by not giving up.
I mean, usually mappers give up if they have to redo layout. You had good layout already so there was no reason to give up
