I'm a fan of this, I was trying to push another community project between our sites.

On a similar not, I'm horrible at texturing, but if anybody wants some map props modeled I'd love to help, just shoot me a message. Hats and stuff get kinda smooth after a while.

Well, The contest has drawn to an end.
Some really great stuff has been made, its going to be a really hard judging process.
As soon as the contest is over and all the winners have been picked, we'll make sure to send everything over to you guys, so that you can decorate your maps with these lovely new vehicles.

I can say I was quite disappointed with the winners. 1 and 2 were great, and so was 4, but I thought for sure the steam train and that farm machine would be on the list. Whatever.

I agree, steam train guy got robbed. It's animated and comes with other models, it's like, born to be #1

Have to remember that there were multiple judges across different aspects of the games community, modeling, mapping, administration, etc. Each one judges based on how they feel the model does based on their respective expertise.

If it's the train I'm thinking of, it looked REALLY good, but rather detailed for a TF2 prop, imo.
