Yep, iibo and retro did an absolutely fantastic job.
I wonder if they'll collab more often...
Yeah, it really caught my eye this time. Great job, good improvement.
ooh, sweet poster.
Aye, it's like the original poster, but with a giraffe print background, which is scientifically proven to make everything better
My apologies for rushing the artists into an unfinished poster - they definitely wanted to wait for the good version.
I want to see hard science on this.
I mean I think last time we were using #tf2jam, let's keep it up.
Ah excellent! Another chance to relinquish my MvM Mission creation skills!
Count me in, hellyeah letsdothis.
Gonna challenge myself this time, more than last time, where I confort zone'd like crazy. If anyone has cool ideas for a full painting send em to me.
Excited for this!
Maybe you could do some landscape drawings of TF2 maps, similar to Crash's Twitter banner. I think that'd look really swell with your art skills!
yeah map paintings is on the list. There isn't that many out there. Idk if i'd paint an existing map or make up one though. I wouldn't know what map to pick either.
I had a lot of fun making my map for the last 72 hour jam, even if I was stuck in a hotel using a laptop. I'll have to come up with a finale better than blowing up the moon
I will be participating again, would like if the medal looked at least a bit different even a recolor as an idea, but still gonna work on something this winter
Time to make another map to add to my constantly-growing pile of unfinished projects.....
I'll still do the jam regardless of whether the medal was exactly the same or not, i'm just sayin'. Plus making an SFM video in less than 72 hours is a damn good challenge for me.
I personally don't recommend trying to do animation during the jam, but hey that's my opinion.
Over the past few weeks I've come up with what I consider a much better training mode for TF2 then what's currently in the game (posted over on Facepunch if you want to read it) that I sent to Valve as a suggestion. I may try my hand at writing some of the dialog for this training mode for part of this contest, time permitting.
I did in the summer jam, and I intend to carry this tradition (of sorts) on.
I'm in. Prolly with a map. Yeah!
*edit: Question! If i remake koth_fiasco (from the 7.2 hour contest) from scratch for the 72h contest, will that count as something new? I mean, fixing the map already means remaking it...
Starting from scratch with an old design is fine.
