I don't like these wooden clamp things; I don't know about the TF2 engineers, but I would not hold big wooden pillars together with wood. Use metal.

I also don't like the RED spawn, it's just BAMREDEVERYWHERE and has towels alongside servers, looks silly.

But other than that, holy shit.

Yeah, the RED spawn stood out as really weird, but everything else, including what looks like a new skybox? *WHEEEEEEEW* I barely recognized the second stage from some of those shots.

And the "now two stages thing"... I assume you had three before, though I don't remember what it was like. Are you cutting it out altogether, or just pulling a Zig and removing it for now since you don't have time to finish detailing it?

Yeah for B2 (after the contest) I will maaaaybe make the lighting a little less red, although I like the feeling it gives to the map. Will also have a look at the red spawn.
I don't know wether I will put stage 3 back in or not, 2-2 actually feels like an ending to a map so it actually seems right now.

But anyway thanks for the mostly positive reactions you guys have given so far, I'm really happy right now.

I don't like those big wooden beams with the unnecassery gap between them. Reference cp_granary CP2 support beams and build ones similar to those (they also have the metal clips around them).

I don't quite understand the aesthetics of last either, it's not very epic or open for a last CP.

The lighting on the wood in the back is a bit too dark. I don't know if you can do anything about that though.

Right now the cliff fits the wall a bit too perfectly. Maybe add a bit of distance? Or remove the cliff underneath there and add supports so it fits to the ground below?

This colour/shadow difference is a bit too much. Add something in the 3d skybox so the shadow is there too.

This looks a bit unnatural. Why the little step up into a wall, and then you need to turn around for the door?

This looks too empty. You could add buildings or some hills/rocks to get more of a layered and far feeling.

Apart from that I agree with the "Too red' and 'Give the last CP better glass' criticisms. The map does play well and looks nice though!

So this looks kind of dead but I'm going to release a B2 after the contest with fixes at CP2-2 (the glass), the 3D skybox, the respawnroomvisualizers at the BLU setup in stage 2, ...

However I don't think I'm going to detail the 3rd stage though, it always felt a bit weird and CP2-2 is harder than both CP's in stage 3. So I will probably just let this be a 2 staged map. :O

On one had this looks kinda cool. On the other, it looks weird to have such a giant light on it. It looks unnatural/unrealistic/weird.

And the skybox looks too empty/too much of one colour.

So I'm slowly working on B2 but I don't really know wether I should change the CP's heavily or not. There are indeed some balance issues but I don't think these are big enough to rework a whole CP? I'd love to hear your opinion on this!

Aside from that I'm mostly just fixing (detailing) bugs and I might try some less red lighting too. :O
