name wise i'll say cos the map seems to be going on the mining theme + you have that cave section in stage2, why not go with a mining related name.
e.g.
cp_silverroot
cp_discovery
cp_carnelian (which is a stone more commonly known as a blood-stone)
etc...

Mojave is good, it is desert, it has mining going on there and people can easily connect it to the desert.
Also, it sounds good.

cp_mojave is fine, but I suggest you make the long name more interesting. "Mojave Mining" is pretty lackluster but it's better than playing in something named as boringly as "Mojave Desert". I think cp_carnelian is a more interesting name, but more people would remember the simplicity of cp_mojave so idk

Eh, cp_mojave would make a fine name but I don't think it suits this map. It just doesn't have the feel of the Mojave. It'd need to be flatter and have pl_upward's lighting & skybox to look more Mojave-ish.

Personally I really like cp_silverroot since that's simple, easy for server admins to type, and invokes the mining theme you have going on.

put broken planks on the floor inside that building - it feels too sterile otherwise
(like someone smashed throuhg the wall cos the door is blocked, but are OCD so swept up all the bits of wood all over the floor. - i dunno why they didn't fix the wall after though if they are OCD... lol)

Stage 1 CP1 and stage 2 CP1 are almost done, now starting to redo a little bit of Stage 1 CP2 and detail the other parts of the whole map. :O

So for next version (done this weekend) you will see a rather new CP2 (stage 1) + stage 1 CP1 detailed and stage 2 CP1 detailed.

- Changed mapname to (maybe temporary) Mojave
- Detailed 50% of stage 1 and 50% of stage 2
- Altered CP2 of stage 1 quite a bit
