Everyone keeps saying timer...

But you push the cart to the final point and it blows, no waiting, no timing.

The face was more of a test to see what I could do with decals

Ill sleep on it

And the radar is a nice beginning, but it does stick too much out from the dispenser.

The awesome content of this bomb decreases by 90% with the addition of that face. Please! Don't ruin the cart! It's so awesome as it is! Take off the face!

I agree, the face doesn't work. If you really need something in that area, how about a bracket or clamp that's holding the bomb securely in the cart?

Face has to dissapear.
You need an AO bake for the inside of the cart, it doesn't cast any shadows.
Than you can call it finished tbh, looks great!!!!

Or maybe an engy's tagline about a sapper would be good too :)

Aren't sounds attached by the mapper, not the modeler? The sound seems a bit gimmicky to me anyway, kind of like the heavy's picture on the front. If you keep it simple and sleek more mappers will want to use it. Perhaps you could just release it with a buzzing sound (make the buzzing pulsate/get louder when it's moving) and an "explosion" sound. A good sound for that would be the one from the start of Lord of the Rings, where the ring gets cut off. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dr_i2w0W-ZM @ 3:46)

True. Though it would be nice to have appropriate sounds for this.

As far as me linking the sound files, I was thinking about what you could paint on the cart, since most carts have some clip from a heavy on them.

Oh god... my amateur tf2 project totally died. I originally started this for the pl contest that was set to end sometime around the end of last year / beginning of this year. But... things came up... they always do.

The lack of [custom] particles in custom maps might have been the reason why I lost interest (I'm not sure if there is a way to do that yet). The last thing I remember working on (besides gimmicky textures) was... I think it was called ambient occlussion... adding some kind of soft shadows to the texture. I never did figure out how to do that, despite all the reading I did.

Anyways... if anyone wants, I can put up the [unfinished] model... or the originals for editing... if I can find them. There's probably some better models out there now though...

Add dispenser to both sides (both neutral gray), make pinch bomb cart skin grey, and I think we have a winner for pl_waste.
