Currently working on a project I like to call Mann Rules PASS Time.
It's a PASS Time spin on Australian Rules Football. Essentially the game takes place on a very large oval-shaped arena with goals on either side. There are 2 goals, the main goal in a goal turbine worth 6 points and the Behind goal, taking up the wall behind it, being worth 1 point. It's 18v18 for a total of 36 players on the field. The Jack will spawn in the middle, being launched into the air where both teams will scramble for it. Because it's Mann Rules, there's going to be some added features, such as the sidelines being lined with a deadly moat, jump pads being activated by scoring, etc.
I plan on running it on a server myself that way I can modify some things. For instance, I want to limit it to melee only, scout only. I want melee attacks to have knockback to them, to disrupt players (acting as a tackle substitute) or knock them into hazards. I want to see if I can modify the Jack to have an alt-fire by using the custom weapons plugin. The alt-fire will be a power-throw (to act as a substitute for kicking the ball) tossing it a longer distance. Catching the ball thrown this way is called a "Mark," and getting a Mark will push all enemies around you away from you, giving you an unimpeded throw or allowing you to run the Jack with less pressure.
The game will run for 15 minutes, with the team scoring the most points winning (the Scores To Win total will be 999, making the game choose the winner with the most points)
So what do you think? I started work on the map itself a couple days ago, so it's not in a screenshot-worthy state yet.
