This is from a map wich need soo many work that I don't know if i will finish it one day
I actually like the size of the birch trees. They give the screenshot interest and somewhat a reason their are logging companies around. it also lends to TF2's crazy style. the only thing I would change is the skin on the trees. I know theres a goldleaf skin somewhere on them.

I added The Outside to my trade map.

The central stage on my current WIP, currently called Rocky mountain though I'm going to change it when I come up with something good. Rocky road, riverrun... something else anyway. The middle part is supposed to be a dried out river with only puddles left. Getting fairly happy with the layout of the center and 2nd caps, only done some real rough drafts of the first/last points though.

Unfortunately I'm in retail so this Christmas season is fairly busy, don't expect to see anything playable until next year.
I think that having a bridge area at the central point might be a bit like badlands already so I'm not sure if having the same theme would work that well. It might just be me but in my mind, people might just go "lol badlands copy, next map". I don't have anything to base this on, it's just how I feel. Like having a central cap with containers might make everyone think of granary.
Even though you have the nickname to support it, that's not going to be the one.

That looks really fun, actually. Put some health under the point though! Especially if you're gonna have water down there, as water slows players down and having the low ground is disadvantagous enough to a player.
There's really nothing wrong with that brick. It makes a good contrast to the rest of the drab colours. If you really want to change, maybe try a neutral cinderblock (I forget the texture name; might be in a search for "concrete" -- definitely in a search for "wall").

I should make the roof holes more square rather than horrible scratches...and maybe abandon those destroyed parts...

I think someone else mentioned it in here earlier, I hate to see all these cool maps start and then after a first post never ever again see any updates on it. I hope they get finished sometime

i'm working hard on a competitive map
I like the look, just for aesthetical purposes, get rid of the dual beams from the fluorescent lights and make them an env_lightglow, use this awesome light library made by Ravidge for your lighting needs! =)
