Just create a pseudonym and submit under that name. I think either YM or tyler did something like that a few years back, but that was before I joined.

That was not to game a contest limiting them to one entry. This would 100% be caught and punishment doled out for it.

• NEW maps only! This means no updates to old joke maps for consideration in the contest. This also means if you have started something before this announcement but it wasn't played in previous April Fools events, it's okay to submit!

We are looking for new content. If it's been public/ played for awhile or played in a previous april fools event it's not allowed. Submitting an older map that has been around long before the contest isn't allowed, the idea is something made for the contest. But, I was leaving it open in case someone had something they started before the announcement, or are updating an older map to make it a joke map.

• Editing an older "serious" map is acceptable, as long as there is enough of a change to it. I'm probably not going to disqualify anyone for this, but it certainly won't help your scores if you only changed a few small things.

I had a fun idea for a map, but unfortunately there is a major bug with game_ui which crashes the server if someone disconnects while using it, so can't enter sadly. Also I regret not bothering to notice this contest earlier

A partly-functional version has been publicly available for a while, but never hosted on a server to my knowledge. The map was four-stage CP. I'm currently working on a joke map that is based on one of those stages, but updated to be a complete and fully fleshed-out map (and actually work properly!) Is this a valid submission? It's ancestor has been public for awhile, but not actually played since it was part of a broken map I abandoned.

Since you're using a segment of a non-jokemap you should be fine

All working, non-disqualified maps will be ran on the tf2maps servers April 1st, and probably for awhile after as well. I'll be testing them a bunch the following weeks to make my judgement, depending on how many we get.
