The Tf2 Facepunch community are hosting a competition in which Tf2 modellers will create various Tf2 vehicle props. When the competition is over we plan on putting all our submissions into one pack and sending them over to you lovely mapping chaps, so that you may use them as you please.

I love this idea for a contest, making people compete for making the best model and then putting ALL into a pack, it's great motivation.
I'd love to see something similar happen here.

Would really appreciate if we as a community got fully behind this, bringing the 2 biggest content creators for TF2 together is win/win for all of us. Come post some ideas and help with any questions they have, like say the sizing between skybox stuff and normal props.

Might as well crosspost here on my start of an entry.

It's a skybox scale blimp. Depending on whether or not a pack of skybox props are enterable (as one entry hopefully), I'll have more. If not, I'll make a proper sized version of it.

It still needs a texturer, and I still need to figure out QCs and stuff (I'm used to the importer doing all the slavery for me).

I would love to see vehicles other than sniper's van or those generic 1950's pickup trucks.

Where'd you get the art for that poster Square?

Also, I would really love to participate in this competition but I don't know Blender well enough to model efficiently or do nice UV unwraps. In the rules on FP it says teams are allowed - would someone be willing to partner up with me as a texturer? I've textured a couple things before and I really enjoy it doing it.

If no one is interested I understand, I'm not very experienced, but it would be much appreciated and I hope I would make us both proud!

Hey guys, Jukebox from Facepunch. Glad to see us getting together for something!

Anyway, just started this:

Gonna be making a tricycle for shits and giggles as well. Maybe a Payload cart if I can think of something I like. If anybody wants to texture please let me know! I'm slowly getting better at it but still kinda suck.
