The next person used to think that game development was something different before you actually learned about it (like, I used to think that a bunch of people just sat around computers and coded and out came Crash Bandicoot and whatnot).

true. I believed everything is like, compiled into one file, (so modding is impossible), and the game things are all hardcoded into the .exe file (obviously I didn't know any of those words. I just thought it's all written in a code by some people, then magically converted into one file that is the game). Then I got a computer, an internet, got into video games and obviously learned that I am wrong, then I managed to make a few mods.
