Hello and welcome to this mini contest!
It will hopefully be an enjoyable and helpful learning experience while we all wait for the next major contest to begin. This time we're asking participants to show their craftsmanship in the arts of 3D skybox creation.
This mini contest will last for 3 weeks (21 days). After that there will be a brief voting period. There will be no official judges, all votes will be by registered forum users.
Start date: Nov 17
End date: Dec 8 [countdown clock]
Rules:
Name your submission this way: "3dsky_<forumname>"
No capital letters or special characters.
For multiple submissions add a number at the end.
example: "3dsky_ravidge", "3dsky_ravidge_2", "3dsky_ravidge_3"
Entries will be judged based on their overall looks. The 3D sky will be the main point and focus of the voting, but neglecting your play area too much may lead to a worse impression from people!
Voters will be free to choose whether to vote based on screenshots or a in-game look around. Keep this in mind, so you don't make it pretty from just one specific vantage point!
