Losing marks to some lighting issues under the truck and behind the ladder but otherwise its pretty cool, you seem to have got the teamless theme from hydro spot on (sorry, I don't believe you can call it blu themed with out more...well, blue)
Here is my Submission, Blu Lab. I have a feeling it wont win or come close to winning, but I thought I'd try it out anyway.
This is a Clean modern industrial/office building, Indoor/outdoor accessible, complete with 3 story elevator.
Building is about half or less than the maximum size, and I thought this contest was about just the building so I neglected to make an outside environment, but hopefully this will make it easier for others to plug it into their maps.
Feel free to use this in whole or in part with or without credit given, enjoy.

I like that you did the inside also. I'm contemplating if I want to detail out the inside or not.
Ouch, to be honest I never thought It would be so though concurrence. Oh well, here is my entry.
Btw, those rock props are a bit outside 1024x2048 bounds, I hope it doesn't matter that much.
You can also notice that the sky texture isn't from TF2. I forgot to change it and I'm to lazy to fix it
And snipergen, looking good :drool1::love:!
It's very nice, though i wasn't aware you were allowed 3d skyboxes. I think the competition was about what you could do with that much space only.
Correct, no skybox.
You will have to get rid of the skybox and you'll need to upload your .vmf on TF2maps.net
Dox, don't think like that, I like your interior. Gameplay wise it's terrible but now we vote for the looks.
Well, this is just awesome...Yesterday, my laptop's screen cracked, so I'll have to take it to repair. According to mr. repair guy, it won't be ready until a week after I give it to them at the very least, and since that computer is where I have my vmf, I'll most likely cancel my entry.
UNLESS I manage to transfer the vmf over to this computer (which will be hard, considering about 1/5 of the screen is still functioning). I'll let you know what happens, but either way I'm pretty sure I won't be able to work any more on it or give you any screenshots (I could try transferring the bsp too so that someone else can take screens if you want to, since I don't have TF2 on this computer), which sucks.
Do whatever you can man! But I can't move the deadline sorry.
Yeah, I understand you'll not be able to move the date. I will do what I can, though, and I think I just worked out a way to avoid having to drop out.
Can you run off an external monitor plugged into the VGA port?
There's usually a function key to toggle between LCD and VGA output. It'll probably look like a little monitor in a monitor. ( My Dell laptop key is labeled CRT/LCD, and you have to use the blue Fn key to access it. )
It might give you a chance to move the files, at least...
I'm not sure if I could do that, I'm not exactly handy with such things.
Of course, I will try.
Unless I can figure out how to use an external monitor, though, I think what I'll do is just buy a crapload of CDs and burn all my stuff on them.
Sorry if I'm a bit off topic.
Best overall shot:
Other [just as good] shots:
^Awesome^ Good thing I gave up ages ago.
Curse your talent, Youme!
...is that a badwater-inspired industrial pipe I see?
uh, wait, uh, no /looks to one side and whistles as he walks away, hands in pockets
Pipes are one thing I've always been bad at, that one in badlands just stuck in my mind, so I thought I'd try it.

Let me rephrase my sentence. "Wow that looks really good Youme, very nice job." I've seen how you've come a long way, I've just been thinking that I'll never get any better at mapping. You changed my mind, Thank you.
Well, now I know 100% that at least I'll still be able to compete, maybe even add some more stuff to it, since I've transfered my files to this old computer that I'm using now.
Second, and final, entry. Last two shots are the inside of the center building, which you can see from the windows if you have the right height.
