Is there a way to make a single stage map have over 5 Control Points?

I'm just curious to find out if a map can have over 5 control points or not in a single stage, I could imagine chaos in 7CP maps

You can have up to 8 control points in a map per round. Above 8 will crash the game. Mutli-stage maps can have more than 8 by teleporting points around, but can never have more than 8 at the same time.

The maximum number of control points possible in a map is 8, regardless of whether it's a single-stage or multi-stage map. So yes, it's possible to create a single-stage map with as many as 8 CPs.

There's no logical use for it in a serious map. There are probably some meme maps that probably use it but an 8CP map wouldn't be that fun to play on.

You'd also need to adjust the index numbers in the tpc master accordingly (1, 2, 3, 4...)

But I'd also like you take DrSquishy's comment into consideration
