How often do you work on your maps?

Again just a thing that popped into my head. I usually work on my map once or twice a week, mostly on weekends.

Currently, since I am a sad human being, pretty much all my free time goes toward mapping and taking part in map testing. My other hobbies get a look in now and then.

If I have something in mind, I might work all weekend doing stuff. Other times I like to put in just an hour or two on a map just to cross something off my to-do list.

But every new and again, I don't open Hammer at all for a couple weeks. Usually when I have a new game on Steam.

• Put it in the imp queue and get feedback
• Rinse and repeat until RC

I usually work on my map 4-5 days a week. I don't rly work on it on weekends too much for some reason unless i feel really motivated or theres something I want to do

If i have active map in the works, i basically work daily. Atleast a bit everyday if not more. If I have finished a project, i might return to one of my older maps that are still in need of work and do some of those while i plan for something new.

Like literally now i have 3 different vmf's in the works. 1 non released, 2 maps that i am currently improving in different ways.

That game is dangerous! I remember playing that for hours every day, untill the wife asked if i wanted to have a kid. Then like after 3 days passed within the game, i stopped and haven't had the nerve to go back yet! Too scary to return, either the wife will have the kid or i lose all my time again.

For the most part, I only work on maps for a few days every month or so, when I don't feel like doing anything else. I don't really get how people can work on multiple maps at once, as I'm the kind of person that only works on one thing at a time, for extended periods of time.

It's kind of dynamic actually. Sometimes I have time to work on it, sometimes I don't.

During the summer I used to map everyday.
