Hello all,
This shouldn’t be much of a surprise to anyone, if anything my lack of activity here demands that I reintroduce myself to many of the new faces around TF2M. For those unaware, I’ve been hosting and maintaining VBot for the past few years, after having created it initially, then having @fubarFX re-build it from the ground up before handing it back to me to update as needed.
In the past week I’ve been able to move over VBot to be hosted on TF2M servers, to hopefully fix stability issues for it alongside giving staff more control over it.
I’ll no longer be in the discord and I hope people to direct questions specifically on VBot running to staff (such as if it goes down or the website can’t be reached). The staff can be assured that if there are absolutely any issues with VBot I’ll be more than happy to lend a hand, I absolutely want to help out still and ensure staff are capable of maintaining it.
So before I head off I want to give a proper thank you to those still here who recognise me, I spent a lot of time on TF2M during the years I matured and the community has shaped my skillset heavily as well as influence me into the person I am today. Y’all were also great entertainment.
For many here I look forward to seeing what they can accomplish when they finally move on from TF2. There are art-styles that are still yet to be found and technical limitations that can be broken in any modern engine. For those staying, I hope you the best in learning as much as you can from the veterans here, even though I spent most my time in the chat and talking a ton about my maps I regret not collaborating more as the brief periods I did so were the best times on TF2M I had.
Goodbye All
