wouldnt it be awesome if we would make a TC map out of the top 6?

Would be cool, but I have a feeling that the layouts would be too radically different, not to mention the variety in themes. Perhaps a community project though could work on a TC map... but that's a little off topic. :p

Wow, I'm really enjoying this. I'm guessing it's okay to release the contest entry as a koth map afterwards?

you could incorporate the cp in your map
but remember this is just 1 point not the whole map and surrounding areas.

I think I will join this. I could use some practice detailing and I have an idea I have been wanting to try.

Meh, I'll go for this, seeing as I'm usually to lazy to finish a map, and this is just like making a vignette out of LEGOs. So many ideas...

Are we allowed to have skybox brushes outside the 2048x2048x<Inf> box?
I may want to take a screenshot where the camera is outside that area.

So where is a good spot for putting works in progress for comments etc.?

It would be better if you didnt post progress shots for feedback. We've had a lot of tht before and it drives the screenshot-based voting that we really don't want to encourage. Also If you're recieving a load of feedback on you're entry you're technically cheating!!:p

I asked this question for the swamp contest regarding my entry, and i was allowed, as long as the play area remains 2048x2048. Since the critiria and rule scheme is the same as the swamp contest i imagine it's still fine. Let that rest your thoughts for the moment until an actual confirmation is made though, surprised Youme missed your post.

A correct responce.

Judgin based on running through the BSPs ingame. I'll assemble them into one big pack for ease of downloading then you can run through them and vote accordingly.
It is likely that we will not be doing the usual vote-for-the-best type as we have done before, but stay tuned for full details!!
