Just a question, did you enjoyed the map during the gameday yesterday ? The second stage wasn't that good, but it's the first iteration so it's ok, plus the fact that the teams were completly imbalanced.

I really enjoyed defending A on stage 1 as soldier but maybe take that with a pinch of salt being we were winning and held that point till the time ran out and I didn't die once

Stage 1:

Everything looks huge and we are tiny men running around inside a doll house, easy to die from fall damage due to loads of high falls and no railing, defenders have height advantage out of attackers spawn 2 - this is common across the whole map, really roomy need to be filled with props to hide behind and not get attacked straight away this is an issue around the whole map - obdvious sniping advantage, the space from the balcony to the final cap is too far and there is only 1 way down which a pyro can airblast making it hard to push onto last even with uber... if you try jumping down you take loads of damage, change some textures the brick is not nice on the eyes, soldiers do low damage due to the distance the rockets have to travel

Thanks, I have taken a look at the demo, and actually that's the first time I see someone dying so fast ahah, I still have to make a lot of small tweaks, but I still want to keep that verticality though. I hope you are not too much disgusted about the map :)

I just want to show that the map is still in development :), although i'm working on it alone since more than a year now.

Looking good.

I can't wait to see how the building most of the map takes place in looks when it's fully detailed. It would be cool to have a map centered around a massive factory.

That's kinda the idea, I want to make a third stage which will probably be an harbor :), the last stage is a surprise :p

I guess this lighting is better, I want something that feels really cold but not snowy, I might put a sliiiight snow particle on the map too :)

Also I want to be as open as I can into the development of this map, I hope this will help some newbies to understand how I work, so expect a lot of pictures :D

I always love your detailing. Pictures are great, but I think it'd be really helpful if you could record a video or two while working. Maybe just a small building start to finish or something? I see these pictures and always go "I see what he did there, but how exactly did he do it?"

Well I could do that, but you know I never really know where I'm going with my details, I never plan anything and the ideas get there when I work on the map. So yeah some small video would be cool, but sometime I fail, and I fail a lot before having something cool tbh. But I might try to make one and see if people enjoy it.

Great job on the environment lighting. Could just be the 12F degree weather I'm living in right now, but those pictures make me feel cold.
