Here's my project for the payload map contest

It's called pl_canalae, (which is italian for canal) which takes place in venice

Yes, they'll have other things, but that's just one of the conditions that they've decided to fulfill

Yes, the boat is the payload. It's gonna go slightly faster than normal
I think you should add some bomb props to it, cause you know your purpose on pl maps are to explode an important place
Not necessary but i think there should be a reason for blu pushing that boat

Actually, I just added a blu bomb to the boat. It sits in the back seat of the boat. I might add some more explosives to make it more obvious later

(Does anyone know how to stop the seams on a model from showing at a distance?)

Taxis look good

If you're meaning what i think, the seams come from the LODs having visible seams, which often happens if you don't clean things up after generating an LOD mesh using an automated decimate type modifier.

Here's a picture of a custom cart I'm making for my payload contest map (It's going to be tug-of-war). The model is still wip, but I'm pretty happy with the first version I made.

I worked for several months on my payload map, and finally, one of five parts of map received some textures and props. I think I’m missing some lighting, but for now it looks like this (still not yet made interior and houses on the other side of the fence)

That looks pretty damn cool, although the ground area is a bit dark for gameplay. Perhaps try adding some more lights around the map?
