Some kind of demonstration of Special Delivery with Frontline's 'C.A.R.T.'. At the moment I am dealing with RED cap resulting in both exploding even though only one is actually shot at (https://tf2maps.net/posts/418010/ EDIT: FIXED). Later, it will become 'sd_vietnam_village' - although it is not knowingly correlating with the Vietnam War, nor will it keep the name depending on what feedback I get.

Foliage is made to match the Borneo stuff somewhat, but his foliage uses $constantdirectionallight and mine is vertex manipulated, so it won't match perfectly. You can see in the screens a couple of Borneo trees for reference.

Also, you won't want to use vertex lighting on the banyan foliage pieces which means once again we have seperate trunks and seperate foliage which irks me but whatever. At least they are not the anemic terribad things they used to be.

I have to do collision meshes for the extra large tree as well as final trunk textures (fixing seams, etc), then I'll release.

I like separated trunks and foliage because then I can cheat to make foliage thicker in places, or use it as bushes, or have variation with different foliage with different trunks!

Hm, well, that's a fair point actually. I just generally prefer the convenience of only messing with a single prop at a time, but having more options is always a good thing.

so i will be up all night working on an alien themed map.
i will be sitting in my room, watching Alien (1979) on my PC, pausing at any scene with an interesting back ground, and recreating it in tf2, to a 100% acuter (or as close as i can get) scale in the hopes of making an interesting and spooky experience for players.

p.s. what game mode should it be?

Hey guys! Here's a completely original map I just started. I think it has lots of promise!

Even though it's nowhere near a1 levels of complete, I really like how this completely original, not-at-all-copied-or-inspired-by-anything-else map is turning out! It's just so new and not influenced by @trbz_ 's Distil map!
