Pretty much finished my layout for the mvm contest, map is done, time to make some missions!

Make sure the railings dont block any key sentry spots. Looks good from what I can see!

You know what would be a cool theme for this? It looks like it could easily take a form similar to cp_hadal, and it probably wouldn't be too hard to put it underwater... Other than that, nice map!

Well, that's why posted it, any idea of how to possibly fix it?, mean, of course more ways in, think every intel room on valve maps have 2-3 ways in. Just... don't want to drill entire tree with holes and bridges... some kind of teleport in?, stairs from that one bridge up to first balcony? (tho it won't help that there is only 1 bridge in...) ideas?

I would raise the ceilings a lot, sollly and especially demo will hit those every time

I opened up an old map that I haven't worked on in nearly a year, and wow was it bad. I'm going to recreate it with the mapping knowledge that I know now.

It seems that my activity has kinda ceased on this website. Lets fix that. Have some screenshots of my new map and this over-detailed RED team spawn house

The lighting is still needs some adjustment. (I actually stole those light_spots from decompiled valve maps, because I can't do my own good light_spot, and thus, I feel ashamed of myself.)

I do that too. No worries.

I just adjust them as needed when I start polishing the map, but I usually always start by copying them from another.

There's a few light sets in the download sections that are perfect for putting into instances and quickly setting up lights. I use those heavily, as well as several custom ones I've made over the years.

If you need to adjust the lighting, you just tweak it once in the instance, and bam, set for the whole map.
