Agreed, the white texture at the bottom is good but the metal texture above is is very highly noisy. I wouldn't say it looked like a HL2 texture at all, but I think placement of the wear on it could be a bit better, it could use a flatter base colour with very carefully chosen areas to have wear.

At the moment it has noisy wear and a noisy base, it should have an almost flat base and noisy wear.

Tottaly agree with youme on the textures, though could imagine it's hard to make something corroded without looking "grainy". It's not really a common tf type wear.

What might work is rather then flat corrosion is to work with more of a flaky sortof look, like coated layers of material peeling off. Would be easer to do tf's brush-stroke style texture with something like that.
