"The system cannot find the file specified" Issue

    I'm going to preface this by saying that nothing appears in ALT-P or interlopers, and my suspicion of the issue being an invalid solid is false because I've tried compiling with details and displacements completely off. There's no funky geometry that I'm aware of.

    I orphaned a map from ibex (koth_slug) and changed very little- took out some windows, changed cover, added pickups, changed some displacements, etc.

    I've included the VMF. Here is the compile log

    Are there any func_instance entities in the map? VBSP fails if it finds any empty/invalid instances

    I'm not a 100% sure, but maybe you are missing some files related to this model?

    Dr. Orange is right. Missing vertex data files cause compiles to fail completely. I'm not sure if that's a stock model, but if it is, then validating TF2 would fix it. Otherwise reinstall the model

    Okay, I'll replace the model, and see if it works! Thank you

    EDIT: I fixed it! The flipped rock models I downloaded were placed in the incorrect directory, which I didn't know could actually prevent them from working
