It's looking very nice now Jonah. I'm glad you kept with the snow theme. (I'd be willing to call this more a "billiard" theme if you use the same custom snowfall.)

Anyways, Can't wait to test it again. The Hud looks very nice.

Not much detailing progress has been made, I've been mainly working on the last point's architecture, and thinking about how much I should implement the official snow content. I decided to remove the snowfall completely and go with a "windy industrial area at dusk" theme, where most of the snow has fallen off the rooves on the ground... I hope you won't be too disappointed, but I want to maintain some originality, and a bit more.

As you can probably guess from the pics, beta 1 won't be released this week, it's going to take at least another week to get things done, and I've got school too.

I like how snow "spills" inside via overlays, although you probably don't want it to fetch up against warm electrical equipment :)

You'll need to fix the overtime thing as you see that someone went into hiding to prevent red winning.

Can't wait for b1!

Played this during Gameday earlier, the gamemode is really fun and interesting - Something very different. :)

I would do what PenPen suggested and fix the overtime bug, maybe add a 30 second timer to the briefcase so that even if a player goes into hiding after overtime has begun, BLU has 30 seconds to capture the flag before the round ends and RED win.

And yeah, some snowfall would be great :D

Play'd today this map, it had it - and +.. but the pluses are more then minuses, so you made a great job. The biggest problems were with cloaked spies capping and snipers, im sure that many people told u to add cap time. Instant cap is bad.

Btw im sure someone already mentioned this.

often i didn´t know what was going on, an indicator on which point was capped would have helped

didnt witness the first 3 point effectively, they were capped too fast for me to witness where, when,who...
but the last point was a one door grindfest, basically just pushing into the room and being pushed out
make the doors open from the outside, not the other way round, so blu can get a momentum going without being ambushed too easily by pyro/spies from their bakc

@Eerie: The new HUD has an indicator of which points have been capped. But this was an older version, and he hasn't made a new one yet. I bet a13 will have the new HUD.

Poor ol' Displacements need to be together with his Brush friend. (Or there is nodraw there. Some look like a fail-sew, some look like nodraw. Some of those screenies aren't centered, but I did that so you could tell where in the map I was, by having the displacement on the side of the screen and location on the middle).

Maybe if on capping the 3rd point, the 1-way door that red uses from 4 -> 3 can just open so both teams can use it as a separate route? The only thing I worry about then is that the main route will not be used as much. (Er, now that I think of it, that route wasn't used too much anyway, was it? Red was sorta turtled back in their base, maybe remove some of the possible SG spots?)
