This is a very enjoyable map for the most part, but some of the points aren't all that good. The third point is long gone before RED gets there. Always. No exceptions as far as I can see.

The 1st and 2nd are fine, RED can defend them well. I think the distance between the 2nd and 3rd points is too short, and there's not a lot of good places to defend.

The final point is quite the opposite, though - it's too hard to cap. All attackers come from the same one room, which is quite easy for RED to hold despite it being above them, possibly because BLU only has one entrance to this room. Give BLU some other path that does NOT go through this room at all, but goes directly to the point. Think Badwater's final point for some ideas.

And remove that one-way grate between 3rd and final (coming from the final).

While being bored at school, I came up with these changes:

This, plus I'll adjust the spawn times for the last two points and it should be fine.

So I've made some changes to the layout, most importantly, moved the 3rd point farther away from point 2:

Also, capping the second point opens the forward spawn now, and in order to make that work, the flag now spawns on the captured point, like in Youme's original prefab. Rexy made cool cap-point-door models for me, which open 10-15 seconds after the point has been captured, revealing the flag:

I dl'ed and played it. Nice for the most part.

Not nearly enough ammo or health. Sprinkle more small healthpacks and medium ammopacks.

Also it is very confusing on what you are supposed to defend and where you are supposed to go on defense. I would like to suggest that you make it 3 very distinct stages so that it is clear where you are supposed to go.

New textures are lookin' good in that teaser you posted.

I'm going to imply that other details in the map are also not playerclipped. Like other windows, other poles, etc. Check all of 'em.

That line looks weird. If you wanted it there, you should make it appear on all walls, but it's only on that wall and the one behind me.

THere hasn't been a gameday for several days.... Don't gameday bump without at least saying SOMETHING new...pose a question to those who played or something, just try to hide the fact you are just.. bumping..

I usually bump the thread before playing so that people will find it easily

What we experienced in today's gameday is that I took the intel and capped the point, and since red's sentry wasn't removed yet, the spawn moved forward and everybody went out and got killed from there until the sentry was destroyed.

I guess you can make the forward spawn face elsewhere with say two exit paths as a workaround.

Unfortunately I didn't get to experience the last point as either team. The third point now is much harder to cap than before.

I want to try it again though! The snow and the new intel cap thingy both look awesome.
