I mean, god damn. Just did a solo run-through, and was very impressed to how it was running. :O Tossed it up on the server, will have to bust out the caddle prods and drag players onto the server to give it some live testing.

Check all of your setup gates. A lot of your walls aren't properly aligned to the gate frame.

not sure if its my shitty computer acting up, but I had really low fps on stage 1 and 3... it was slightly better at 2, but still not playable.

If you dont get any other reports of low fps you can probably ignore this post.

What do you do when your team is ahead with only 2 minutes left on the clock? Why, the best way to ensure your victory is to camp the enemy cart!

You need to get rid of the round timers. All they do is encourage turtling, where PLR should be a more hectic, offensive game.

All it needs is a basic level of coordination from your team mates to ruin the match. You won't find too many of them in random pubs, but the servers that do usually just stalemates. (e.g. Panic on 2f2f)

Nightfall's layout already keeps the rounds fairly short and hard to stalemate, so you really shouldn't have to worry about really long rounds.

I didn't want to release so often but...

Beta 1b - 30th JUNE

  • Removed 2 spawns outside the spawn rooms in Stage 1.
  • Fixed all the console spam.

I can't really see me being able to doing anything about the FPS issues in Stage 3 without stripping down what I think is an already barely detailed stage. Icarus, I'll see what everyone else has to say about the overtime mechanic. Terr, I used PackBSP and it worked wonderfully. :)

I am using occluders. If you have 24 players all visible in one place all shooting each other and whatnot it's going to lag regardless of what you do.

Can't say I had a problem with FPS on Stage 3, other than when the explosion was triggered. Maybe it's related?
